In spring 2022, I launched an Instagram account for the Broadcast / Media Services department at St. Olaf College. The main purpose of this account was to highlight the hard-working student employees of the department. I showcased the various events that the department supported and gave the college community and public a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of Broadcast Media. The student workers felt like their often-unseen efforts were being recognized. Creating stories, posts, and Reels made the students more excited about their work study and increased camaraderie among the team. The bulk of @stobroadcast posts were stories, which are no longer visible. I administered this account from May 2022–August 2023.
